Para os Eosinofilósofos, Amantes e Interessados Nesta Fascinante Célula !!!!!

Este é um meeting de muita interação e muito interessante !!! As inscrições e submissão de resumos estão abertas !!! See you in July !!!!

Registration is now open for the 8th Biennial Symposium of the International Eosinophil Society, Inc. (IES)!

The 8th Biennial Symposium of the IES will be held in Oxford, United Kingdom, from 13-17 July 2013, including the Hypereosinophilic Syndrome Workshop on 17 July.
This is the only meeting devoted to the role of the eosinophil and is a must for scientists and clinicians interested in the role of the eosinophil in health and disease. The emphasis of the meeting will be on fostering informal interactions between clinicians and non-clinical scientists and between established investigators and scientists new to the field. We are particularly keen to support junior scientists who are embarking on a career in science. A central part of the meeting will be oral presentations and poster discussions of submitted abstracts. To foster these interactions the meeting will be held in the state of the art conference facilities in Keble College, one of the architecturally most attractive of the Oxford colleges, a city world famous for its beauty and history. Delegates will have the opportunity to stay at Keble College. The welcome reception and gala dinner will be held in the beautiful 19th Century dining hall. There will be plenty of time for social interactions allowing visits to the world famous museums and punting on the River Isis. The meeting consists of a balanced mix of basic science and clinically orientated talks, invited lecturers and oral presentations from submitted abstracts. The tradition of holding a workshop on hypereosinophilic syndrome will be maintained and presented on 17 July. New to this meeting will be a session on eosinophil methodology catering to scientists new to the field who wish to pick up tips on the optimal methods for interrogating eosinophil function.
Excellent science, conviviality, beauty, culture, and leisure; we certainly have the ingredients for a very successful symposium. All it needs is for you and your colleagues to come along and bring the meeting alive.
Andy Wardlaw, Tim Williams, Barry Kay and Clare Lloyd
